Circles, Flow, and Harmony.

Hapkido is a traditional Korean martial art and a dynamic form of self-defense derived from traditional Japanese Jiujitsu but with a twist… literally.

In Hapkido, you do not practice for sport, instead, you learn to use your opponent’s energy against them. This is accomplished through flowing & circular movements(the aforementioned “twist”) not previously taught in the root art of Jiujitsu, making it more effective against larger opponents without the need to be stronger or faster.

Hapkido encompasses elements from almost every martial art including: Striking. Blocking. Throwing. Locking. Grappling. Defensive Weapons and the tactics and training needed to apply everything you’ve learned effectively if you were ever in a defense situation.

New students are always welcome to come try out 2 weeks of training, essentially “test driving” the program, to make sure it’s the right fit for you. To register for your trial please fill in the form below.

My name is Justin Green, and I am the Chief Hapkido Instructor and Owner at PostFit.

I have been involved in martial arts training since I was 17 years old. The first opportunity I got I drove myself 35 minutes to go and train!

I haven’t looked back since then…

Why? Mainly because, as you’ll find out, martial arts is more about what you become than what you do.

You quite literally become a better version of yourself.

Yes, you will learn some powerful self-defense skills(that you’ll hopefully never have to use)…

But the best part is the Confidence and Inner Strength you will gain to use every day for the rest of your life.

It’s an amazing feeling to have something, that you’ve earned, that nobody can take away from you.

You will also get an increase in fitness(another of my passions) that will make you feel invigorated and energized.
