In our Vigor (kettlebell) and Strength In Motion(Bodyweight Training) group fitness classes we combine elements of strength training, mobility, functional training, developing explosive power, and metabolic training all in one program to help you achieve the highest level of fitness and get you results. This program is uniquely designed to develop strength & endurance, improve flexibility & balance, and increase coordination.
You will learn how to apply these principles in our group classes, making the experience tons of fun. Our classes are about keeping positive attitude with a strong sense of community. Whether you’re a competitive person or not, being involved in a setting where others around you constantly working on improving themselves will instinctively push you to be your best. Training in a group setting also keeps you accountable so you stay on track for your goals. If you miss a session or two it’s likely it won’t go unnoticed. You’ll likely hear from your “workout buddies” asking you where you’ve been. If you have trouble with motivation or seeing things through, this is where you belong.
At PostFit, we go further than your average gym. When considering all the elements of fitness training our main focus is on the WHY of what we’re doing. Our why is our passion for helping you become the strongest version of yourself. We sit down with every one of our members to discuss their goals and how to best achieve them. Our powerlifting group fitness classes are ideal for anyone looking to gain real strength, improve muscle tone, and, most importantly, lift heavy things. If your goal is to become the best version of yourself, to grow stronger, and achieve your highest level of strength then this is the class for you. We have a dedicated area in our facility with all the training equipment necessary to hone your skills and become the strongest version of yourself!
If your goal is to build absolute strength, then this is it. Powerlifting requires developing functional strength through learning to use maximum tension throughout the body on every movement, generating greater force than just focusing on a single muscle or muscle group as typically seen in bodybuilding. We encourage everyone to give this a try.
The Quick Start Program is an exciting introduction to Kettlebell & Bodyweight training and a new active lifestyle. If your goal is to reach your highest possible level of fitness, this will build a solid foundation and give you the right path to follow. 12 sessions minimum is required for anyone who is new to Russian Kettlebell training or general fitness training.
Our primary goal in the Quick Start Program is to prepare you for joining our group classes. The program is specifically designed to hone the skills you have and improve the ones new to you, so you can move with confidence and get the most out of your training. Developing quality movement is the main focus. Once you have a solid base, we will slowly progress the movements or add weight once you are ready.
The program remains consistent throughout the 4 weeks which will allow you(and us) to see your progress. We won’t ask you to push yourself until we are sure you’re ready, making sure you will see consistent progress throughout your training, even after this program is over. During the course of the program you will notice changes in body composition(otherwise known as body fat % or lean body mass), so we encourage you not to watch the scale too closely and take before and after measurements as well as pictures to accurately gauge your progress.
